This would be a contracted position with the opportunity for growth into a full-time or part-time position.
Conducts counseling or therapeutic interviews to assist individuals, family, couples to gain insight into personal problems, define goals, and plan action reflecting interest, abilities, and needs.
Availability should also include evenings and/or weekend availability.
This a contractual virtual position which would include Responsibilities Actively supports, represents, and extends the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.
Completes all required training in a timely manner.
Establishes and maintains strong relationship with assigned foster parents and families of origin.
The ability to provide mental health assessments Experience developing treatment plans Knowledge of case management services Develop and facilitate individual and/or group counseling to students in the program Must be licensed independently in the state of South Carolina LCSW, LPC, LISW MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
Valid and current license:
LISW-CP, LISW-CP-S preferred.
Knowledge of SC Medicaid preferred.
A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.
Capacity to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
